Rob Dearing FCA
Rob qualified with Mazars and worked his way through the ranks, leaving as a director after 13 years. Subsequently he joined this practice in 2012 and was promoted to partner in 2016. He has extensive experience of owner managed businesses and groups of companies. He specialises in audit but gains the most satisfaction from working with business owners, helping them to develop their businesses over time and maximise their wealth.

Susan Kellegher FCA TEP
Sue qualified as an accountant with an independent firm based in Hertfordshire before moving to a large firm in Northampton to specialise in taxation. In 2007 she joined Clifford Roberts as the tax manager and has continued to further her experience and qualifications, becoming a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2016. She looks after the tax affairs of the firm’s wide range of corporate and private tax clients, from small companies to large corporate groups and from sole traders to high net worth individuals. Her interest and expertise in tax planning, inheritance tax, trusts and estates has enabled the practice to become the first firm in Northamptonshire to be awarded a probate licence and she now heads up the team as our Head of Legal Practice.

Steve Wilch FCA
Steve qualified with the firm and has progressed through the ranks to his current position. He has a wide variety of clients and has extensive experience advising owner managers of businesses from new start-ups to large groups of companies. He advises clients on many issues including tax planning, acquisitions and disposals, and strategic business planning. He specialises in dealing with groups, group reconstruction, business sales and acquisitions, charities, Community Interest Company’s, and management consultancy work.

Luke Marlow ACA
Luke joined the firm in 2011 and has built his career here, training and qualifying as a chartered accountant within the practice. Over more than a decade, he has gained broad experience working with a diverse portfolio of clients, including charities, owner-managed businesses, corporate groups, and UK subsidiaries of international groups.
Specialising in audit, Luke takes a hands-on approach to understanding each client’s operations and challenges, ensuring that audit work not only meets compliance requirements but also gives assurance, support for effective decision-making, and helps clients gain a clearer understanding of their business. He is particularly skilled in guiding clients through complex reporting environments and enjoys building long-standing professional relationships.
Sam Mundy ACA CTA
Sam trained and qualified with the firm, becoming a Chartered Accountant in 2021 and a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2022. He works with a range of clients from sole traders to high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed businesses across a variety of sectors, providing practical advice on tax, accountancy, and wider business matters.
In addition, Sam has completed a Certificate in Probate & Estate Administration and routinely assists executors with the administration and reporting requirements of estates. His work includes undertaking inheritance tax planning, advising on trusts, and supporting families through the probate process, combining technical expertise with a practical and approachable manner.

Julian Payne FCA
Julian qualified within the local office of a large International firm where he specialised in computer audit and data risk management. He joined the Northampton office of Clifford Roberts in 1987 and subsequently established the Wellingborough Office of the practice, expanding it to include the long established firm of Greshams, a renowned firm with a long history within the town. He acts for a wide range of SME clients advising on all areas of business, audit and taxation.
